CPS was founded in 2005 by the heads of the Combustor Development, Majed Toqan, Turbine Development, Brent Gregory, Combustor Technology, Peter Stuber, and Mechanical Integrity, Jörg Pross, departments of a large manufacturer of industrial gas turbine engines.
Their main aim was to form a technology company with a multidisciplinary team of engineers in order to handle all aspects of the research and development of new technologies focused on the production of power.
Since its inception CPS has grown to include expertise in design, mechanical integrity, combustion, aerodynamics and cooling.
CPS has carried out several concept studies for new distributed power solutions and have been contracted to construct, operate and maintain one such solution in the Middle East. In addition they have been involved in numerous engineering consulting projects for large power plant producers and owners in Europe, the United States and Africa.
